You could try gimp-ufraw. If your NRW files are supported by dcraw (check http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/Cameras.html) they will be imported by ufraw. With gimp-ufraw installed, each time those files are opened with gimp, ufraw will be launched automatically for raw development.
