You and mitch are the paint and brush masters, so if it's good enough 
for you, it's good enough for 2.8. Can you or mitch close the bug report 
then or at least move it off the 2.8 milestone please?

It's just that when I do

  1. new image
  2. move around the default brush outline on the canvas

then one of my CPUs work 100% in 2.7.2 and about 50% in 2.6.11. That it 
not necessarily a problem, just wanted to point it out.
