Get a new git version, I reported it and Mitch fixed it a few days back. :)
Git is a very moving target, specially in the tool drawing department atm....

With the new git version I just got, the problem is not fixed, it is amplified: now other painting tools present the same problem, for example Pencil, Paintbrush, Dodge/Burn, etc.
