Hi! I have a perl plugin that calls gimp-file-load-layer. and when i call this function, a progress bar apears in the status bar (if the status bar is hidden, then it's temporary made visible). I want my plugin not to display any progress bar / status bar. Is gimp-progress-install function going to help me? if so, how do i use it? I looked everywhere for this function, but can't find a usage scenario to test it if it's gonna help me.
