Re: gimp's default screentones, brushes and palettes

i believe that it should have get new stuff feature,the one that the
new kde4 has. It simplifies the process of downloading and adding new
screentones,brushes and so on ..Curently doing this with gimp is
somewhat a pain in the arse.The user has to copy untared files to
hidden directories,or set new directories in gimp,sometimes resize or
convert files.There should be a faster way of doing those simpkle
tasks and adding the get hot new stuff feature would definatelly be a
big improvement and it will link gimp directly to its living
community..
