Hello Sven,

thanx for that. I tried something like

gimp -i -n -f -d -s -b '(gimp-file-save-thumbnail /path/to/image.psd)' -b '(gimp-quit 0)'

but i didn't get it work :(

This is what have done so far:

You can use the PDB function gimp-file-save-thumbnail(). See
