The Southern California Linux Expo is this weekend in Los Angeles. Hereare some last minute details: The Expo has added one additional speaker. Doug Hass, Director ofBusiness Development for ImageStream, will speak on “Advanced Quality ofService and Firewalls using Linux” His presentation covers the key concepts of quality of service andaccess list filtering using Open Source tools. The presentationincludes an explanation of filtering using Linux's iptables tool andstandard queuing methods as defined in the Differentiated Services RFCas well as applications of these methods through generic case studies. The Expo has added another BOF, “Schools And Open Source Software”.There are a few BOF (Birds Of a Feather) session slots still availableat SCALE on Sunday.
