That's nice, Alex, but what can _we_ do?

The power of FOSS lies in the overrated but not ineffective bazaar mode 
of development, but what I see here is one or two people making 
sporadic contributions.

You know what's going on, what needs to be done and apparently how to do 
it, we have no clue, no context. Valuable enthusiasm and a labour pool 
are going straight doiwn the gurgler. If that one _social_ issue can be 
addressed, GEGL (and so GIMP) can ramp up in development as it seldom 
has before, _and_stay_there_.
