They are detected by configure. That's not the same as gutenprint or gimp-print... Try installing libgutenprint-dev and libgutenprintui2-dev packages (and their dependencies) and then try again. aptitude install libgutenprint-dev libgutenprintui2-dev as root should do the trick. > > > > If you're in a rush, you can also disable the print plugin.
