DUH! How could I possibly forget about sysctl. That doesn't seem to work though:

lucy:~ root# sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmmax=41943040
kern.sysv.shmmax: 4194304 -> 4194304
lucy:~ root# sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmmin=1
kern.sysv.shmmin: 1 -> 1
lucy:~ root# sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmmni=320
kern.sysv.shmmni: 32 -> 32
lucy:~ root# sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmseg=80
kern.sysv.shmseg: 8 -> 8
lucy:~ root# sysctl -w kern.sysv.shmall=10240
kern.sysv.shmall: 1024 -> 1024
