I'd suggest adding this comment to bugzilla, and closing the bug
as NOTGIMP or NOTGNOME, or whatever bugzilla status corresponds
to SEP (someone else's problem).

When the GTK+ bug is fixed, 1.3 will inherit the fix, I hope...
