I'd imagine it's talking about the HOLLYWOOD branch of gimp cvs.  Most of
the people here use/hack HEAD, and that's the official branch, but some
companies interested in gimp have taken upon themselves to create that
branch.

FWIW, gimp 2.0 supposedly will have support for things like 16-bit
channels.  It probably won't use much of the HOLLYWOOD stuff, because we
want to make some big archetecture changes, but we'll see.
