Dear Gimpers Thanks for the reply --- We have decided to upgrade to the new stable version of gimp, 1.2.1 we already have it running on our new linux server There are no comments, on the way I start my Perl-Gimp script. I had sent the script which I use to call my charting programs. Two major cliterias which needs to be worked out is that the program should run in the background(cron job) and multiple session should be able to run simultaneouly. (issues concerning Xvfb, Perl-server, Display) Any comments/sugestions are welcome. Thank you Chetan On Wed, 6 Jun 2001, Marc Lehmann wrote: > On Wed, Jun 06, 2001 at 02:51:24PM +0200, Raphael Quinet <quinet@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > write(1, "/usr/lib/gimp/1.1/plug-ins/Perl-Server (pid:308): [E]xit, [H]alt, > > show [S]tack trace or [P]roceed: ", 99) = 99 > > > read(0, "", 4096) = 0 > > > > This shows that you are affected by the old bug related to the stack > > trace: the process is stuck in an infinite loop trying to ask you if > > oh i forgot that he was using an old gimp version :() > > anyway, chetan: you must upgrade to gimp-1.2.1 and try to reproduce this > bug. chances are that this bug has been fixed. > > -- > -----==- | > ----==-- _ | > ---==---(_)__ __ ____ __ Marc Lehmann +-- > --==---/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / pcg@xxxxxxxx |e| > -=====/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ XX11-RIPE --+ > The choice of a GNU generation | > | > >
