`Floating-point' gives _theoretically_ best quality, but in practice it
is non-distinguishable from `integer' (although the images sometimes
seem to become a _few_ bytes smaller). Integer is usually a bit
quicker, unless you have real fast FP hardware, BTW...

`Fast integer' is faster than `integer' (naturally), but gives worse
quality.

And -- you might notice the difference if working on a _large_ image.
