A protector (to avoid scratches in the monitor) and a caliber (right word?) are fine for me. :] Just in case somebody was wondering if the feature was completly missing, the current Gimp 1.2 has such system under Preferences / Monitor / Calibrate. It just looks too Spartan. GSR
