Shared Memory in linux 2.3.5x?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The last few devel kernels have migrated SystemV shared memory to a
filesystem, which is mounted by default on /var/shm

Most SysV shm applications (XFree86, Gnome, SDL) work fine without any
modification, but gimp pukes and gives the error :

** ERROR **: could not attach to gimp shared memory segment

Is there a fix for this?
