I have just checked in a working solution which gets rid of the annoying iterate-through-all-domains problem. Sorry, but when I had the idea how it could work (actually Mitch helped a little) I just had to try it. Since the changes are so small and no new files are necessary at all, I just had to check them in. The overall idea is of course still yours and we owe you much for solving the i18n problem.
