[Brian Ristuccia <brian@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>] Bug#58608: gimp catches SIGSEGV on 1bpp xterminal

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hm. Someone here says that gimp just segvs on a 1bpp display; perhaps
it should just refuse to run?

Package: gimp1.1
Version: 1.1.14-3

gimp catches SIGSEGV when displayed on a sparcstation ELC, a 1bpp xterminal.
The signal is caught after the logo is displayed and the loading bargraph
reaches 100%.

I'd consider it an acceptable fix if gimp just refused to start on such a
shitty display.
