GDrawble -> pixmap, for plugin GUI purposes?

I'm working on a plugin for which I'm developing a GUI which needs to
display the image in question.  The GUI is being written in GTK.  Is
there an easy way, or some existing code (plugin) that exports a
GDrawable to a some type of GdkDrawable?
