script-fu maintained?

Is script-fu still maintained? Many people complain that script-fu can't
be called via the pdb (** WARNING **: unexpected proc return message
received (should not happen)).

This has been the case since 1.0. It worked for a very short time, but
most of the time it was broken in different ways.

May I "officially" declare script-fu as not scriptable to those who ask,
or should I tell them to wait until this is fixed (I mean, if it is before
2002).

TIA,
Marc
