Adding <placeholder> tags is an xml2po feature to produce simple and
smaller translatable messages for nested items (e.g. <para>
containing <somelist> containing <para>).

<placeholders> are added by 'xml2po' when you make pot files, are
passed to your po files, and are eventually replaced with
translations when you make your localized xml files. So there should
be no <placeholder> any more when you make the html manual (via
the 'xsltproc' program).

If you get those error messages, the number of <placeholder>s in the
messages differ from the number of <placeholder> in the translations.
e.g.

	msgid "blah blah"
	msgstr "bla bla <placeholder-1/>"

or

	msgid "blah blah <placeholder-1/>"
msgstr "bla bla <placeholder-1>" (missing slash).

So you have to identify the po file which contains the translated
string you see in the error message (e.g. "obtiene un icono con una
cadena") and compare msgid and msgstr.

Hope that helps.
Ulf
