Owen, you top posting fiend... I get so excited when I see top posting,
that if I were a puppy I would jump onto your lap and lick your face. As
a human, however, it just aint going to happen :-)
It would never have occurred to me to quote them either. Layers Dialog
without quotes sounds fine to this guy from the USA -- which means that
I am a native speaker, not that I am well spoken.

Sorry for the top posting, but IMO, NO inverted commas should be used.
Layers dialog is acceptable english usage as is Channels and Paths
dialog.
I have never heard of the "rule" that Julien refers to, I have never
heard of rules, only usage.

Hi,
IMO, we must use quotes when there is a plural, because, in good
English, the plural is not possible in Layers Dialog; it must be Layer
Dialog or "Layers" dialog ...
Colormap Dialog is right.
Julien
I just had a look at the Table of Contents and noticed that some
dialog names are quoted, some are not, e.g.
2.1. Layers Dialog
2.2. “Channels Dialog
2.3. “Paths Dialog
2.4. Colormap Dialog
etc.
These quotes seem to be new. Obviously we shouldn't mix quoted and
not
quoted dialog names.
I don't know what's better/correct: with or without quotes?
