You can't. Ok, that's not true... 'xml2po' replaces <guiicon> (and <figure> etc.) tags always with <placeholder> tags. These <placeholder> tags seems to be quite useful, and they don't represent text. The only way to get rid of them is to customize (patch) the xml2po program. For example, I have tried a simple patch to rename some of the placeholder tags to make the text more readable (figure-placeholder, guiicon-placeholder, etc.). Another patch tried to force 'xml2po' to output those nodes (if I remember correctly, this didn't work for nodes without content, though). But using the default xml2po program we can't do anything here. Bye, Ulf
