For the sake of curiosity I've tried to validate the doc.gimp.org/en/ pagewith the w3c.org html validator page, here the results: ================= This page is not Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional!Result: Failed validation, 4 Errors Line 7, Column 16: there is no attribute "xmlns". <link xmlns="" rel="stylesheet" href="gimp-help-plain.css"type="text/css"… ✉ You have used the attribute named above in your document, but the documenttype you are using does not support that attribute for this element. Thiserror is often caused by incorrect use of the "Strict" document type with adocument that uses frames (e.g. you must use the "Transitional" documenttype to get the "target" attribute), or by using vendor proprietaryextensions such as "marginheight" (this is usually fixed by using CSS toachieve the desired effect instead). This error may also result if the element itself is not supported in thedocument type you are using, as an undefined element will have no supportedattributes; in this case, see the element-undefined error message forfurther information. How to fix: check the spelling and case of the element and attribute,(Remember XHTML is all lower-case) and/or check that they are both allowedin the chosen document type, and/or use CSS instead of this attribute. Ifyou received this error when using the <embed> element to incorporate flashmedia in a Web page, see the ================== the other errors are just the same and they repeat throught all the manual. As you can see, this is not vital, I was just curious about what stopped a complete HTML validation. Any hint on to how to fix it? -- Marco Ciampa +--------------------+| Linux User #78271 || FSFE fellow #364 |+--------------------+_______________________________________________Gimp-docs mailing listGimp-docs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-docs
