Subject: Re: Unused files in CVS
Hi,
first of all - coud you please write whether plain text mails, or at
least us a readable font size? That might make communication much
easier. Thank you!
Sory. I'll try to remember it.
Sometimes I forgot to reset my mail program. ;)

Hi, all of you
In the file src/gimp.xml there is an include call to <xi:include
href="dictionary/dictionary.xml"/> but where do I find this file?
Hmm, how about <doc_base>/src/dictionary/dictionary.xml as a path for
the file?
Until now I have commenting it out, but there may be a reason for this call?
May be because it's "translated" to french only and therefore
disabled for all other languages?
Well, I keep on commenting it out in gimp.xml.
There are also some unused (it seems to me) folders in the CVS like
gimp-help-2/help; .../html; .../src/gimp-help-2 etc. Why are these folders
and files not removed from the gimp-help-2 folders? They do no harm, but are
they there for any, to me unknown, good reason?
I’m now playing around fine tuning my Cygwin. Have great fun learning a lot
every day :)

There are indeed some directories (not files!!) which make no sense
at all in the cvs. Problem with them is, that there is no easy way to
remove directories from cvs once they are committed. This, btw. is
_not_ true for files at all. There is no problem to remove them, if
they are not in use anymore.

Thank you for the answer.
As I said before, the folders do not any harm, but I only wondered why they
still are present when not in use.
