A new GEGL release a short time after the first, it should now build or be closer to building on more systems. Work is underway to make it possible to use GEGL from both python and ruby. A preliminary ruby binding can be found at http://pippin.gimp.org/rgegl/. What is GEGL? ============= GEGL is a graph based image processing framework offering non-destructive image processing and compositing on large images. GEGL is suitable for projects ranging from small one-off projects to interactive applications.
