Actually it looks like the gcc package requires gcc-11 and just
creates /usr/bin/gcc as a symlink to gcc-11.

So I think you need to install the gcc_11.2.0-1ubuntu1_amd64.deb package too.

This is still an Ubuntu question not a GCC one though.
