[offtopic] old profiler prof on Debian (for -p profiling)

Hello all


GCC 12 (on Debian/testing/x86-64) has the -p option for profiling for prof.

But where is the binary (or the source code) of that profiler (less 
accurate, but less invasive, than GNU gprof)?
