How do I change the default search paths for "gcc" and "cc1"? root@debian:/# /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/cc1 -v ignoring nonexistent directory "/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/include"#include "..." search starts here:#include <...> search starts here: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/include /usr/local/include /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/include-fixed /usr/includeEnd of search list. root@debian:/# gcc -print-search-dirs install: /usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/ programs: =/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/bin/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/bin/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/bin/ libraries: =/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/lib/../lib/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../lib/:/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/lib/../lib/:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/:/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/:/usr/lib/../lib/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/lib/:/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../:/lib/:/usr/lib/ I assume I need to use some special build-parameters when building my own gcc? I am using crosstool-ng to build my toolchain, so bonus-points if you can tell me the settings for crosstool-ng to accomplish this. I will move my toolchain to another system with other directory structures and I don't want to require the use of "gcc -I...." every time I build something. Regards, Daniele
