As you can see the GCC sources are tried to be compiled using 'g++', not 'gcc' as it
happened in the gcc-3 - early gcc-4 times!

If your C++ compiler doesn't understand the current sources, then please try adding :

--disable-build-with-cxx

onto the GCC configure command. With gcc-4.8.2 this should still work but I'm not sure... Used it a couple of times with gcc-4.1.2 as the system GCC - neither it worked with newer GCC sources. Don't know whether this option was a temporary workaround for a while until everyone had a working system g++. Googling could help to find the
history for this option. The net has examples for its use like :
