I expect the main gccjit developer is working on machines where
gmp/mpfr/mpc are installed via the system's package manager (as
suggested at https://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/InstallingGCC) so isn't affected
by problems building them in-tree, and he might not even be using ISL
(it's entirely optional, not required).
