I just ran "make install" , and all the > compiler versions live happily next to each other, except for > libstdc++.a :( The obvious way is to install the different versions to different prefixes. You can also use the --enable-version-specific-runtime-libs but it is broken for multilib (e.g. x86 and x86_64) compilers, see https://gcc.gnu.org/PR32415
