sorry we tried -O0 it not -o0

Please find nm commands output below

$nm rand_hfile.o | grep rand_

output:
08f9eeb6 T rand_close
08f9e4e9 T rand_open

$nm  rand_handler.sct | grep rand_

Out put shows nothing
(rand_close and rand_open are not used anywhere in the executable)

$nm rand.so | grep rand_

U  rand_close
U  rand_open
