C11 and <stdatomic.h>

Hello,

what is the status of the <stdatomic.h> feature of the C11 standard in GCC? On the wiki page http://gcc.gnu.org/wiki/C11Status GCC 4.7 is listed as the first supported version. In case I build for example an ARM EABI cross compiler I get no <stdatomic.h> header file. Should the C library provide it? For example FreeBSD uses

http://svnweb.freebsd.org/base/head/include/stdatomic.h?view=markup&pathrev=234958

I am a bit confused since the wiki page doesn't mention that the <stdatomic.h> is also a library issue e.g. as for "Macros for Complex values".
