Multiarch vs Multilib documentations

Hi,

I'm seeking for documentations about MultiLib and MultiArch. Seems they do
not play well together according to the two documents below.

Says:

Do I have to understand, on a MultiArch system like Debian and Ubuntu are,
one should use MultiArch only?

I'm still searching the web for more materials on the topic and welcome any
pointer (will report here, any future interesting link I will find on my own
side).
