Hi,

I fixed my  libmpfr problem by installing mprf 3.0. Neither 2.2 nor 2.4 
had the missing symbol.

I compiled until I got close to the end and got this message:

checking for suffix of object files... configure: error: in
`/opt/gcc-4.8-20120812/x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/libgcc':
configure: error: cannot compute suffix of object files: cannot compile
