I am attempting to build gcc 4.1.0 on SLES 11.1.  It
is failing on fastjar with complaints about makeinfo.

None of the ancient suggestions I have found seems
helpful (makeinfo 4.9 is in the path, and I'm using
gmake 3.81).  I suspect I might need to install
further downlevel tools but I'm not sure which
versions of which tools to try....
