GCC 4.4 and PPL 0.11 compatibility

I'm packaging ppl-0.11 and was wondering about any issues that may pop up
when using it with GCC 4.4. It's the norm in Gentoo for users to have
multiple compiler versions installed and if possible I'd like to be able to
use the same version of PPL across the board rather than deal with parallel
installs. The fact that a GCC-4.5-built ppl will not work with 4.4 is enough
of a headache without throwing in multiple versions that need to be rebuilt
every time someone switches compilers.
