The "enabled by default"  warnings do not have a controlling option,
as the message should have made clear. Do you have a suggestion on how
to better convey this concept?

If you find that GCC prints "enabled by default" for a warning that
can be disabled with some -Wno-* option, that is a bug, so please open
a report in bugzilla.
