PUTTING FILES IN GCC FOLDER WORKED i.e. > 1. extract gcc-4.4.1 > 2. extract mpfr-2.4.1 > 3. extract gmp-4.2.4 > 4. move mpfr-2.4.1 to gcc-4.4.1/mpfr > 5. move gmp-4.2.4 to gcc-4.4.1/gmp @jason - thanks ur solution worked :) @kai - I did try & configure the files in system default directories but that was also not working so I went on to creating /pkg/mpfr-2.4.1 folder etc. Hit & Trial basically :) @philip & kai - Thanks for your time & help :)
