query -gcc compiler for MIPS 24 KEc

Whether the CPU architecture MIPS 24 Kec is supported in gcc compiler?
If not, how to port gcc and other toolchain components. If java to be
supported in the gcc compiler, what is compilation steps is required
for that ?
