Hello,
I am trying to package gcc 4.3.3 for Sun Solaris. Our policy is to build a
single package for sparc, and a single package for x86.

I am able to build and test 4.3.3 on all platforms currently at my disposal,
solaris 8 and solaris 10 both x86 and sparc. However, I have been unable to
merge solaris8 and solaris10 into a single package that will run on both OS
versions.
NOTE: Solaris 10 is binary backward compatible with solaris 8, meaning builds
on solaris 8 "should" run seamlessly on solaris 10, although with a performance
degradation.

is there anyway to build gcc 4.3.3 on solaris 8 and have it work on the later
versions? It appears fix-includes is where I am running into difficulty.

any assistance would be much appreciated.
