Hello,
Sorry if this gets posted twice (I think mails from another address do
not get through)
I have some source code which builds with 4.1.2 and 4.3.3, but with the
below version fails when -frepo is used.
Using built-in specs.
Target: x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
Configured with: ../gcc-4.4-20090227/configure
--prefix=/home/s1/soft/gcc/soft_b1/ --program-suffix=4.4-20090227-b1
--with-mpfr=/home/s1/soft/gcc/soft_b1/ --disable-bootstrap
--enable-threads=posix --with-ppl=/home/s1/soft/gcc/soft_b1
--with-cloog-include=/home/s1/soft/gcc/soft_b1/include
--with-cloog-lib=/home/s1/soft/gcc/soft_b1/lib/ --with-decimal-float
--enable-libssp --with-cloog-lib=
Thread model: posix
gcc version 4.4.0 20090227 (experimental) (GCC)
It fails during one of recompiling steps (or relinking), with an error
saying that one of the symbols is in .rpo but not in .o or the opposite.
I'm not sure if I installed 4.4 correctly, but I also installed 4.3.3
and everything works.
Would you like a bug report? If so, what should I include with it? I
read the info on reporting bugs, but I think this case does not really
fit, or I am missing something. I haven't found an existing bug report
on that.
Greetings,
Edek
