You've attached the config.log from toplevel, but the relevant one is the one in the stage1-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/libgcc/ directory. You probably didn't set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the location where you installed shared GMP and MPFR and consequently they are not found when the stage1 xgcc is invoked. Brian
