RE: gcc not properly installed - cannot find libraries

In an earlier message, I think I saw something about the machine not being registered with RHN. If that's the case, you can't install anything.

I tried this and got:
# yum install glibc-devel
Loading "rhnplugin" plugin
Loading "security" plugin
Setting up Install Process
Parsing package install arguments
No package glibc-devel available.
Nothing to do
???
