Hi all, i try to compile newlib (on suse linux 10.1 with gcc 4.0.2 20050901) which supports interworking. i hope you can help me. i have to compile these three packages newlib-1.13.0 gcc-3.4.3 binutlis-2.15 i had comiled the newlib and gcc with: ../gcc-3.4.3/configure --target=arm-elf --with-float=soft --enable-multilib --enable-interwork --enable-languages=c,c++ --enable-target-optspace --disable-newlib-multithread 2>&1 | tee ../configure-gcc.out and binutils with: ../(binutils)/configure --target=arm-elf --with-float=soft --enable-multilib --enable-interwork after successfully compiling this error occurs: /usr/local/lib/gcc/arm-elf/3.4.3/../../../../arm-elf/bin/ld: Warning: /usr/local/lib/gcc/arm-elf/3.4.3/../../../../arm-elf/lib/thumb/libc.a(strlen.o) does not support interworking, whereas Foo.elf does and this many times i also did not have the directories which are in the inet are often specified like: /usr/local/arm-elf/lib/interwork /usr/local/arm-elf/lib/mthumb/interwork i only have /usr/local/arm-elf/lib/mthumb Does smb. know what my problem could be?
