Hi Akos, Have you tried -fshort-wchar flag? CAVEAT: Warning: the -fshort-wchar switch causes GCC to generate code that is not binary compatible with code generated without that switch. Use it to conform to a non-default application binary interface. Sincerely, --Eljay
