Thanks for the info , yes it is installed

glibc-devel-2.3.4-2.25

There is a /usr/lib64/crti.o that is part of this package. At risk of
being off topic, do you know how to ask up2date to please install the 32
bit version in parallel? I've no such problem on SuSe!
