Hi Jeremy, WINDRES.EXE is a binutils tool, not a GCC tool. q.v. http://www.gnu.org/software/binutils/manual/html_chapter/binutils.html >From the output, it appears that WINDRES.EXE cannot open the icon file "Simulation.ico". Please check your sim.rc file and see where the reference to Simulation.ico is specified. Then check the Simulation.ico file in the directory to make sure it exists. Finally, if those things pan out, use ProcessExplorer... http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/ProcessExp lorer.mspx ...to see if something has Simulation.ico open and locked.
