Hi Syam,

Were the libraries built on Cygwin cross-compiled for Linux?

If they were built on Cygwin for Cygwin (which is typical unless someone
built a cross-compiler for Linux on Cygwin, then used that cross-compiler to
build the libraries), they won't work on Linux.  They work in Cygwin on NT.
